County boards attend Arc of Ohio Summer Conference

Monica Juenger and Adam Herman, along with representatives from county boards and partner organizations across the state, attended The Arc of Ohio Summer Conference in Columbus. The conference featured presentations on key legislative and policy issues impacting Ohio's developmental disabilities system, including panel discussion with State Rep. Crystal Lett (D-Franklin) on Senate Bill 315 and its implications for people/families, providers, and county boards. In addition, CareStar provided an overview of the Ohio Home Care Waiver and the organization's role in delivering case management services, while Allan Showalter, Janet Stephan, and Joelyn Karlson (DODD) shared updates on the implementation of the InterRAI assessment tool and ongoing statewide transition efforts.
